A transmission grating is an optical component featuring a precisely engineered periodic micro/nanostructure on the surface of a transparent substrate (such as high-quality optical glass or fused silica). This structure is fabricated using either ruling or holographic techniques. When composite light (e.g., white light) illuminates the grating and transmits through it, the periodic surface structure diffracts light of different wavelengths into distinct angles by virtue of the wave nature of light, thereby achieving spectral dispersion.
Leveraging rigorous electromagnetic grating theory and advanced manufacturing equipment, Raysung Photonics provides customers with comprehensive solutions for grating design and production.
